In the fairytale realm 'Somewhere' there is great poverty. One day, a good fairy gives the king a magic knot, with which he can fulfill everyone's wishes. The country is turning into the 'Reign of Abundance', but the people want more and more and are more and more dissatisfied. The princess, a schoolmaster and a doctor try to put an end to this ailment of human frailty.
