Martin of Vamberk, the boss of a fortress, is called up to fight in the war. His eldest son Peter will now have to run the estate, but his bad manners get him into trouble with his siblings. Meanwhile, Lord Albrecht hatches a sinister plan to take over the fortress. The children will now have to fight to keep their fortress.
