A Mother's Touch plot

Satoshi loses his sight at the age of 9, but is surrounded by the love of his mother, father and older brothers during his childhood. While he is doing well at a school for the blind in Tokyo, he also becomes deaf when he is 18. All hope seems lost, but then Satoshi and his mother discover a new way to communicate.
