A Baby for Christmas plot
It's almost Christmas, but none of the Chandler family is in the Christmas spirit yet. Marci and Blair are obsessed with upcoming parenthood, Myra and Donald are now retired and feeling useless, and Elizabeth does everything she can to get a promotion at work. Stephanie has just started dating Lawrence, but he can't decide between her or his job as a missionary. Everything points to Christmas being skipped this year, until a group of children from the orphanage help the Chandler family remember that Christmas is more than wrapping presents and baking cookies.
