1983 plot
The story follows the father-son relationship from the time India win their first World Cricket Championship in 1983, to the present day. Rameshan is doing well in school and his parents want him to become an engineer. He is passionate about cricket and is part of the local cricket team. Rameshan is in love with Manjula. She eagerly hopes that Rameshan will find a good job after his studies and that they can get married. However, with time, his results get worse and he fails the exam. His love for the game remains the same.
