Umbracle plot

Using a combination of documentary and fiction, filmmaker Portabella explores the language of experimental cinema. The man (Christopher Lee) has hallucinatory wanderings through Barcelona, including visiting a museum with stuffed birds. In the climax of the film, Lee is instructed by Portabella to do nothing, followed by a long improvisation.
