Slow Action plot

An exploration of possible future utopias, which develop in isolation. Ben Rivers takes us to four islands. The first is Lanzarote, one of the driest in the world. The second is Japan's Gunkanjima full of pernicious concrete. The Polynesian Tuvalu, which barely rises above sea level, is also discussed. Finally, there is the fictional Somerset, or: the post-apocalyptic remains of the British Isles.
