Dit Is Hoe een Land Ontstond plot

The ditch that ran through the meadows of the Beukeveld family once formed the German-Dutch border. One day this ditch was filled in and Gerard Beukeveld was expropriated. According to him, however, neither the Netherlands nor Germany paid any money for the land where the ditch once lay. That is why he and his enthusiastic followers proclaimed a new, sovereign state: Eurostaete. Just like the borders of Eurostaete, the borders of the Netherlands were once created. In a nutshell, "This is how a country came into being" flies through this border history and compares this to the origins of Eurostaete.
