Zhong Guo Zui Hou Yi Ge Tai Jian plot

Just on the day that Lai Shi is voluntarily castrated to become part of the eunuchs who run the imperial household in Beijing, the Qing dynasty gives way to the Republic of China. Lai Shi has had it all if he nevertheless leaves for the capital. Working at the Peking Opera he manages to conquer a place in the former retinue of the emperor, only to end up on the street again.
