Zhaleika plot

Seventeen-year-old Lora must learn to deal with her father's death. In the small Bulgarian village where she lives, her relatives, friends and acquaintances assume that she is surrendering to her grief. From now on, she must wear black clothes, not listen to music and observe various mourning rituals. However, Lora wants to stay youthful and enjoy her life, but her desire for a normal life is constantly suppressed by others who want to see her in the role of an orphan.
