A small village in the mountains, where everything is motionless. Fifteen-year-old Vanessa is tired of being seen as the prettiest girl in town. She sees an opportunity to escape, or perhaps even her first love, in Maia, a boyish girl who is part of an ice hockey team and battles her own loneliness.
