Zakurozaka no Adauchi plot

"The last of the bodyguards hunts for the final assassin."

Kingo Shimura serves his lord Naosuke Ii until he is killed by ronins from the Mito region. Instead of committing seppuku (ritual suicide), he decides to go on a mission to take revenge on the killers. A year-long search for the killers follows.
