Yuki no Hana: Tomo ni Arite plot

Towards the end of the Edo period, Ryosaku Kasahara works as a doctor in a small town. When many people are diagnosed with smallpox, Ryosaku becomes aware of a sure way to prevent it with a method that comes from abroad. He asks doctor Teisai Hino in Kyoto for advice and even spends his own money to work on the unknown smallpox prevention method. He is supported in this by his wife Chiho, despite various difficulties.
