"Community, Friendship, First Loves, Rebellion!"

1974. Against the background of a violent miners' strike in a quiet English village, a sympathetic teenager falls in love with a girl from London. But their tempestuous relationship and attempts to flee the village lead him to betray his family, the community and his closest friends. Dangerously embroiled in the strike riots, he must make a choice between his old friends and his new lover.
