Yohanna plot

This film highlights the dark side of the Indonesian labor market and portrays the common exploitation of young children as laborers. We see the situation through the eyes of the title character, a young nun who doubts her faith. When the car she uses to provide humanitarian aid disappears, her search leads to a dark world in which children are forced to work long hours under difficult, sometimes dangerous conditions.
