Yamato (California) plot
Sakura is a grumpy teenage girl who lives near the US military base in Yamato, Japan. She struggles every day with her desire to become a rapper, just like her American idols. However, every time she wants to sing in front of an audience, she has stage fright. Then one day Rei comes to visit her family. She is the daughter of her mother's boyfriend, an American soldier.
