Xiao Bai Wu Jin Ji plot
Three stories about different women, aged five to thirty. The first part is about a five-year-old girl who sells tissues at a night market in Taipei. During the day her father begs and at night he drinks, gambles and beats her flirtatious mother. The child imagines her parents as dead or as tango dancers. The second part focuses on an estranged teenager who, out of boredom, steals identity cards from strangers and pretends to be them. She meets the victim of a motorcycle accident who suffers from acute amnesia. The last part is about a thirty-year-old woman who visits her dying mother and considers having a child herself.
