Xi Gan Dao plot

1978: Li Siping lives in a gray industrial town in northern China. Instead of trying his best at work and behaving properly, Li Siping is out of step. He doesn't take his job seriously, steals from factory sites and secretly listens to foreign radio stations. His life feels pointless. When an eighteen-year-old musician from faraway Beijing comes to work in the house opposite his, everything suddenly changes.
