When Secrets Kill plot

The family of married couple Greg (Gregory Harrison) and Karen (Roxanne Hart) and their adopted daughter Jenny (Lacey Chabert) is in danger of being torn apart when Lacey's biological mother Lapchinski (Larissa Laskin) claims her child. When Lapchinski is shot and killed shortly afterwards, Karen is the prime suspect. However, it turns out that Greg is the real father of Jenny, which changes things quite a bit: the police now see Greg as the most likely culprit.
