Westwind plot
A year before the end of the GDR, the inseparable twin sisters Doreen and Isabel travel to the socialist camp in Balaton, West Hungary, to train as rowers in the 'Two Without a Mate' team. When they get to know four snobbish yet sympathetic boys from Hamburg, they sneak out of the gated camp at night to illegally party with the 'class enemy'. Doreen falls in love with the sensitive Arne and finds herself in a deep conflict of conscience.
