Two young lads, Daniel (Jon Cryer) and Stan (Rick Stear), who have been friends since childhood, decide to go on a journey to find a friend who has been missing for some time. The stories they've heard say he was seen in a confused state on Coney Island. During the journey they experience a number of adventures and come into contact with the strange life in the park. They also discover cases concerning the death of one of the boys' sister, a failed relationship in the past, financial problems and alcoholism.
