Enoch is in the last year of high school, lives with his mother and grandfather and loves poetry and philosophy. He stutters and has only one friend, Wheels, so named because he is in a wheelchair. Enoch has his sights set on college with the help of a basketball scholarship. But things get complicated when he starts to feel something for Abby, one of the popular girls at school. Even though he wants Wheels to go on dates, even if it's just to finish his sentence, the relationship between the two friends doesn't get any better.
