Genoa, October 3, 1985. Along with 500 other passengers, Margot and Pierre Bergeron, a newlywed couple from France, the Serafinis, an Italian family, Anne Higgins, Englishwoman, Gitta and Helmut Holzer from Germany, and the American couple Marilyn and Leon Klinghoffer on board the 'Achille Lauro'. Everyone is in a good mood and looking forward to twelve days of sun, sea and tranquility. No one can suspect that there are four Palestinian terrorists among the passengers: Al Assadi, Fatayer, Al Ashker and Molqi, their leader.
