Violenza sul Lago plot

Laura, a young girl, is raped and murdered by Stefano, a popular singer who she thought liked her. When her brother Marco learns the truth, he tracks down the killer. A fierce quarrel ensues and he unwittingly kills him. He is convicted in a fierce trial and has to spend a long time in prison. When he is released, he seeks out the lake where the tragedy happened. He meets a beautiful woman, Rosanna, and they fall in love. Their happiness is soon spoiled by her father, who had previously sentenced the young man to a long prison term. Will love triumph?
