Vidago Palace plot

In 1936 Portugal, the luxurious Vidago Palace hotel is a haven for the European elite during the Spanish Civil War, which broke out just across the border. The beautiful young aristocrat Carlota arrives at the hotel to plan her wedding to the wealthy César, who must save her family from bankruptcy. But her heart goes out to Pedro, the handsome son of the hotel concierge.
