Victor plot
A man sacrifices his freedom and his love for a woman to remain faithful to a wartime friendship. Imprisoned instead of his friend, he finds himself in shady business and agrees to suffer in secret and watch his lover marry his friend because she cannot resist the luxuries he has to offer her.
