Veruschka plot

Veruschka is traveling through the Italian countryside, together with her Italian manager/boyfriend. Despite the beautiful scenery and the fact that she is out with a man who apparently loves her very much and vice versa, she can't shake her all-consuming melancholy and existential misery. At the beginning of their journey, her boyfriend asks her, "How do you think our journey could end?". A question neither of us can answer at that moment.
