Verano de Goliat plot

Summer of Goliath tells the story of several residents of the rural town of Huilotepec in Mexico. Teresa is shocked by her husband's sudden disappearance and she embarks on a mission to find out what happened. Gabino, her son, is a soldier who examines cars on the side of a country road where hardly any cars pass. He hopes that one day he and Alberto, his partner, will be given machine guns to further intimidate the passers-by. Amalio, Nico and Oscar are three brothers whose father left them long ago, and their mother can barely support them. Oscar is nicknamed Goliath after the mysterious death of his girlfriend.
