Valley of the Heart's Delight plot

When the town of San Jose, California is rocked by a crime, suspicions spread like wildfire. A dangerous atmosphere is created in which everyone is suspected. Soon after, hasty decisions are made and precarious arrests are made. A young reporter travels to the scene to save the two found guilty from the death penalty. However, he is the only one who believes in their innocence.
