Valedictorian plot

Ben seems to have his affairs in order. He lives in hip Brooklyn with a cool girlfriend, plays in a band, has a job and in his spare time goes to parties on roof terraces where the view is good and the drinks are plentiful. But Ben is overcome by a nagging and unrelenting-is-it-all feeling. Slowly, without drama or existential reflections, he withdraws from life. He sells his household goods, stops answering his phone and wanders streets where no one knows him.
