Utsukushiki Tennen plot

In the 1930s, the main character, then a boy, decides to bury a film role. He does not agree with the ending of the film. The film in question is about the love between two people that is unfortunately prevented by a third. In the present, the now old man is haunted by memories of the film role. His quest helps his granddaughter (played by the silent film actress) solve her own problems.
