Uroki v Kontse Vesny plot

During the twilight years of the Khrushchev regime in the Soviet Union, twelve-year-old Vadim wants to go to the cinema with a girlfriend. They accidentally end up in a riot at a bakery where again no bread has arrived and are arrested together with the rioters and put in prison. The harsh life there makes him grow up fast, while the authorities try to make him confess things he didn't do in order to cover up their mistake.
