Urashima Tarô no Kôei plot

Bearded war veteran Goro Urashima returns from a Pacific island after 16 months and is slowly becoming known for his screaming rants on the radio. His success is first embraced by the inexperienced reporter Akako Tatsuta and later by a political party, which hopes with him to disguise its shadowy intentions. Soon, Goro is seduced by his own success and the cult surrounding his personality.
