Una Vita Scellerata plot
An epic about the Italian, sixteenth-century goldsmith-sculptor Cellini, based on his own biography. In Florence in 1523, Cellini, of humble origin, works in a workshop for orphans. Bold but talented, he kills a young man who insulted him in one of his irascible fits. Sentenced to death, he flees, disguised as a priest: the beginning of a turbulent, shocking and violent life. As a fugitive, he ends up at the court of Pope Clement, who keeps his hand over his head. When the Pope dies, he is surrounded by enemies and conspirators.
