Un Homme Se Penche sur Son Passé plot

Monge, a trapper, arrives at a Canadian ranch and falls in love with Hannah, the owner's daughter. He leaves for an expedition to the far north. On his return, he marries Hannah who gives him a little girl. A few years later, Archer, Hannah's former boyfriend, returns and they begin an affair, after which Archer plans to kill Monge.
