Umwege des Herzens plot
Since the tragic death of her sister Susanne, whom she had not seen for 18 years after an argument, architect Sarah has struggled with a heavy feeling of guilt. She is convinced that she could have saved Susanne by donating part of her liver. Sarah goes to visit Susanne's husband Max and his three children on the family farm.
