Umibe no Sei to Shi plot
Saku arrives at Kakeromajima in 1945 at the end of World War II as commander of the commandos. The children admire him and he is eager to drink with the men and learn the island song. Toe is an elementary school teacher and in love with Saku. One day, she gets a note from him that says, "Please come to the beach tonight at 9 o'clock."
