Twee Ogen uit Lemberg plot

The young widower Jack comes home from work as a fishmonger at the market one evening and finds his house, which had been a mess in the morning, neatly tidy. It appears to have been cleaned by mistake by Maria, a Ukrainian woman who is illegally staying in the Netherlands. Driven by curiosity, they seek each other out, but mutual distrust now and then puts a significant brake on their coup de foudre.
