Tumbledown plot
Lieutenant Robert Lawrence (Colin Firth) is wounded in the Falklands War in 1982. He returns home and must recover from his wounds, but only partially succeeds. He remains half paralyzed. Lawrence notices that his colleagues, soldiers and officers who return from the war in one piece are welcomed as heroes, but that he, like other invalids, wants to be forgotten as soon as possible.
