Saw it at the movie house today. I think it's a very good movie. I soon got into the story. It picked me up and took me along. I like the acting and the humor appeals to me. Beautiful image, and what a nice woman I think Mackenzie Davis. At the end came a twist that was unexpected for me, but which I also find rather vague. It's something to think about, I'll just say. A high score. 4.5*

Really fine this. Unlike some others here, I really liked the comedic aspect of Tully. It is not so much jokes that are made, but rather funny situations that are created. Mackenzie Davis sitting blissfully smiling from a foot away watching Theron breastfeed, that sort of thing, gneh. The drama isn't bad either, although I expected it to be more humiliating, now it's pretty much within the normal range I think in terms of portraying motherhood. The twist works fine but doesn't really change the film for me, either positively or negatively. I do have respect for Theron, but you can ask yourself whether it is not more logical to cast an actress who has that physique (the answer is yes, that is more logical, but people will be afraid that the audience will stay away) .

I had a great time with Charlize Tully. Theron acts well, is funny at times and dares to let go. Apparently I wasn't paying attention and didn't understand the ending right away. After reading the above comments, I put the ending one more time. And damn, then the penny drops!
