Tropic Madness plot

Juanita, Herbert Pomeroy's wife, spends his money extravagantly and irresponsibly, ultimately bankrupting him. In desperation, he sends his son Frankie to his friend Henderson, a merchant on the South Seas, and then commits suicide. Although Juanita searches for her son for years, she finally gives up and takes a world cruise on the yacht of the wealthy Jules Lennox. One day the yacht docks on Henderson's island. Juanita, meeting Henderson, persuades him to let her be Frankie's governess. Complications ensue, involving a poor doctor, a jealous island woman and a witch doctor.
