Treppe Aufwärts plot

To the outside world, Adam pretends to be a taxi driver. But in reality, he spends most of his time in casinos and gambling houses. He tries to pay off the debt his father Woyzeck has incurred as a result of years of gambling. That's why Adam regularly manipulates the slot machines in his favor. But things are not going well for him at home. Not only does he suffer from his increasingly demented father, but he is suddenly confronted by his 16-year-old son Ben.
