Trás-os-Montes plot
In this docudrama, life in the Portuguese province of Trás-os-Montes is reenacted by the local population. In this region time seems to have stood still and the origin of Portuguese culture is still clearly visible. The population consists mainly of women and children, as the majority of the men have traveled to work. A recurring theme is the absence of family, work and modern technology.
