Ant writes a screenplay about topless women, Liz is pregnant, forgets to have an abortion and doesn't know yet which father she will choose for the child. Geoff teaches himself to knit and Pue hopes everyone is always nice. This story has a mosaic-like structure, looking with irony at the modern life of a number of friends in Auckland.
