Tokiwa-so no Seishun plot
Historical drama based on the legendary Tokiwa collective of manga artists during the 1950s in Japan. All the performers live in the same apartment with Osamu Tezuka as the group's spiritual leader. When Osamu leaves in search of bigger and better things, Hiro Terada takes charge. Other artists living in the apartment include: Hiroshi Fujimoto, Motoo Abiko, Shotaro Ishinomori and Funio Akatsuka. Terada tries to liven up their "monastery life" - entirely revolving around making and selling manga - by going to a baseball or sumo game together every now and then.
