Three Below Zero plot

On a warm summer night in New York, three people (a young drummer, a young woman and an old woman) find themselves trapped in the basement of the apartment complex. They wanted to wash their clothes in the washing machine in the basement. Suddenly the door locks and they are trapped in the basement. So no gig for the drummer, the young woman can't visit her fiancé in San Francisco, and no dinner for the old woman. They start talking to each other, learn more and more about each other and try to figure out what they've done wrong in their lives.
