The Women of Spring Break plot
"Grab happiness where you can."
Three best friends - Anne Winger, Claire Donowski and Denise Donovan - are all in their forties. They sometimes want something different in their lives, because that threatens to become too much of a routine. They go out on a free weekend. Two of them allow themselves to be seduced by younger machos and Anne finds an old love again, but it is not the expected, paradise-like scent of roses for all of them and even the moonshine is pale.
