The Woman Who Brushed Off Her Tears plot

Helena undergoes an attempted rape by her own son. She manages to repel his attack and he then claims that he was sexually abused by his father in the past. Then he jumps off the balcony and dies. Helena is shocked. In a moment of weakness, she allows her work as a probation officer to persuade her to smuggle the great love of a parole client across the border.
