The Wicked Darling plot
When pickpocket Mary steals socialite Adele Hoyt's pearl necklace, she has to flee from the police. She hides in Kent Mortimer's house, only to discover that he is Adele's former fiancée. The two grow closer and Mary decides to live an honest life from now on. But first she has to deal with her past.
