The Voice From the Minaret plot
Adrienne Carlyle is the wife of the British Governor in Bombay. On a ship voyage she meets the young seminarian Andrew Fabian. He convinces Adrienne to join him on a pilgrimage to the Holy Land. They fall in love, but Adrienne soon has to return to her husband. Later the three of them meet in England. Adrienne's husband becomes suspicious and he wants them to confess their love.
